Stopped into Mickey's after a long day of mountain biking at Palo Duro Canyon for a beer and to try their chicken parmesan. Staff was incredibly friendly, beer was cold, food presentation was awesome, and the meal was very good. Ended it w a piece of chocolate cake. I'd give them a try if you're in the area!
Phenomenal food here at Mickey's Place. Interior was beautifully decorated so it had a modern/fancy take on an Italian theme. The complimentary bread and sauce was delicious. Our server, Hunter, did an amazing job on taking care of my table, she was very friendly and consistent with refilling our waters! She was very knowledgable about the menu as well, and recommended some different pastas to me. I ordered the classic spaghetti and was quite impressed. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and it was a nice portion for lunch. The meatballs I added on were tender and were seasoned nicely. I also tried the chicken barbecue pizza, and it was very flavorful. I do not like charcoaled crust so hands up to them for not overcooking it. The barbecue sauce was very present in the crust and the chicken was tender as well. For dessert I tried the molten chocolate cake and it was perfect. The chocolate cake was hot and rich, and it absolutely melted in my mouth. The ice cream on top complimented it nicely and it was a good size for two people! Definitely will be back, great job hunter!
The food tastes high quality. They have multiple Italian dishes to choose from along with wine and a full bar. We have been several times and have never had a bad experience.
Had no idea this place existed. We came in for after church brunch and loved the vibe! The servers are very attentive, and we felt like we were at a fancy date place. Hubby loved his order of West Texas egg sliders, but I was a bit disappointed with my salmon patty eggs Benedict. In all fairness, I thought i was getting a chunks of salmon instead of a patty. My mom made those alllll the time when I was a kid and burned me out on them. The taste is much more fishy and metallic, and the texture is just not my thing. Next time we will come back for dinner! We were very impressed by the owner coming out to greet everyone personally and truly seeming to care about our experience.
This was our first time here as we are passing thru but we’ll make a point to come back - it was so good! We had the bruschetta, scallops & risotto, lasagna and a side of fettuccine Alfredo. We got the tiramisu to go. It was all excellent. Iveth provided excellent service, she was very friendly and made sure we had a great meal. I definitely recommend!
My server was very attentive and kind. I like when I can go out and feel right at home. Marleigh is truly a gem and an amazing employee. She felt more like a friend than my sever. I LOVED it here!!! I would recommend for anyone who wants affordable fine dining and good hospitality!
Wow! Met friends here for a phenomenal surprise dinner. They made an excellent choice. We were greeted well and promptly sat despite the busy, crowded restaurant. The appetizers and food tasted exceptional and were plated well. Each meal was enjoyed to our fullest and savored with eat bite. We are sure the locals know (IYKYK). We are thankful for a great evening and dining in such a cool establishment.
Everything we ate during our visit was absolutely delicious. The pasta dishes were cooked perfectly, and the portions were very generous. We started with the seasoned flatbread triangles, which paired wonderfully with the side of marinara sauce. To top it all off, the warm apple dessert served in a sizzling cast-iron skillet was the highlight of the meal. We left feeling completely satisfied.
I ate at the bar as a solo patron and had a great experience. The service was amazing and the food was brought out hot, fresh and very timely. I had the mozzarella marinara, tomohawk porkchop blackened and the sizzling apple pie. That pork chop was mazing and a must eat when you come! The sizzling apple pie was a fist for me - never seen anything like that. It was served on a hot planche like sizzling fajitas would be seerved...AMAZING!
Great restaurant in Canyon, TX. S must visit for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. Good menu with large section of ask toes of entrees, appetizers, and drinks. Great drink menu. Service is friendly and fast. Good delivery is quick and delicious. There is a bar side and a restaurant side. Try the salmon and Mona’s Marsala.
